ADVANCED AYURVEDIC PRACTITIONER AND YOGA COUNSELOR
Maryna Stasiuk
My Journey into Ayurveda
My path to Ayurveda began with a desire to find a more holistic approach to health for my own family and those closest to me. What started with an interest in homeopathy and energy healing gradually developed into a deeper study of the Vedic sciences and, eventually, a lifelong commitment to Ayurveda.
I have had the opportunity to study with respected teachers including Dr. David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri) and Vaidya Jayarajan Kodikannath, and I continue to deepen my understanding through both practice and teaching.
My Approach
I believe Ayurveda is most useful when its classical principles are understood clearly and applied thoughtfully to modern everyday life.
A significant part of my practice is working with clients who have chronic health conditions. Ayurveda allows us to look beyond a single diagnosis and consider the whole person—constitution, current imbalance, digestion, sleep, energy, diet, daily routines, stress and other contributing factors. My role is to provide individualized Ayurvedic support that complements appropriate medical care.
Professional Experience & Teaching
I have more than ten years of experience in Ayurvedic practice and also serve as a mentor and teacher with Kerala Ayurveda Academy & Wellness Center. I support students in the Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner program, review research papers, contribute to course materials, and offer private case-study review for Ayurvedic students and graduates.

WASHINGTON LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST, QIGONG PRACTITIONER (Level 1)
Deborah Weaver
My basic understanding of the integral body started when I met my soon-to-be mother-in-law. She taught me about homeopathy, body awareness, nutrition, balance, and organic gardening. I was forever changed by her wisdom which showed me an open door to healing and awareness.
Later on, I went to Massage School and received my license in Massage Therapy. I feel that giving and receiving a massage is a very special interaction of healing through touch and intuition. I continue my education every two years, which gives me more knowledge about our human bodies and the different ways to activate a healing process.
I took a course in Qigong and learned about amazing breathwork, food as medicine, listening, being still, and Energy that is everywhere and in everything! My world again opened up a new way to think, heal, and be healed. I was so drawn to this Qi/Energy that I got Certified to teach it.
I continue to educate myself in nutrition and detoxification. I’m always curious to learn about how our bodies fall into a dis “ease” and ways to naturally heal our imbalances.
I enjoy nature, its healing properties, its guidance and resilience, and its delicate balance and wisdom to connect and communicate. I believe that we walk a certain path that introduces us to opportunities for growth, friendships, education, enlightenment, and choice.
I was recently introduced to Ayurvedic massage and medicine. I’m intrigued by its healing and nourishing approach to the whole body. I greatly look forward to my journey in this ancient wisdom of health and healing.
AYURVEDIC PRACTITIONER, ADVANCED AYURVEDIC PRACTITIONER IN TRAINING
Khyati Mistry
My journey with Ayurveda began in 2017 during a challenging period in my life. I was balancing a demanding corporate career while navigating motherhood when severe wrist inflammation left me unable to perform daily activities or even carry my daughter. After conventional treatments failed to provide lasting relief, I was introduced to Ayurveda— and that became a turning point in my life.
Through simple yet profound changes in diet, lifestyle, and herbal support, I experienced significant healing within a few months. This transformative experience inspired me to study Ayurveda more deeply. I began my formal Ayurvedic education through Kerala Ayurveda in
2017 and later transitioned from my career in engineering to pursue Ayurveda full-time. To deepen my understanding, I pursued advanced training in Pulse Reading and Marma Therapy through AyurPrana under the guidance of Dr. Vasant Lad. I am also continuing my studies through the Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner program at Kerala Ayurveda.
As an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Counselor, my mission is to help individuals reconnect with their body’s innate intelligence and its natural ability to heal. I believe true healing happens when we understand our unique constitution (Prakriti), recognize current imbalances (Vikriti), and create the right environment for the body to restore balance naturally. My approach focuses on identifying and addressing root causes rather than simply managing symptoms. I support healing through personalized guidance in diet, lifestyle, herbal formulations, yoga, Vedic astrology, and conscious living.
I am deeply passionate about preserving and sharing this sacred wisdom with future generations, helping individuals not only care for their own well-being but also live in harmony with nature and preserve Mother Earth for generations to come
