Ayurvedic Consultations
Personalized Ayurvedic assessment, diet, lifestyle & herbal guidance
90-minute initial consultation • Follow-ups available • Sammamish, WA
What to expect
An Ayurvedic consultation looks at the whole person rather than focusing on a single symptom. We consider your individual constitution (Prakriti), your current state (Vikriti), digestion, elimination, sleep, energy, diet, daily routines, stress and other factors that may be contributing to how you feel.
Many clients come for general wellness and prevention, while others are seeking complementary Ayurvedic support while living with ongoing health concerns.
Your first consultation also gives us time to understand your goals, health history and what you would realistically like to change.
Traditional Ayurvedic assessment
The consultation incorporates classical Ayurvedic assessment methods, which may include:
Pulse assessment (Nadi Pareeksha)
Traditional Ayurvedic examination of the pulse as part of understanding constitution and current patterns.
Tongue observation (Jivha Pareeksha)
Observation of the tongue, including coating, color, and other characteristics considered in relation to digestion and the overall Ayurvedic picture.
Detailed health & lifestyle review
A thorough discussion of diet, digestion, elimination, sleep, energy, menstrual or reproductive health when relevant, daily routines, stress and other aspects of your current wellbeing.
Your individualized recommendations
Following the consultation, recommendations are developed according to your constitution, current state and individual needs. They may include:
Diet & nutrition
Individualized Ayurvedic food guidance based on digestion, constitution, current state and season.
Daily & seasonal routines
Practical recommendations drawn from Dinacharya and Ritucharya and adapted to modern everyday life.
Ayurvedic herbs & traditional preparations
Herbal recommendations may be incorporated when appropriate to your individual situation.
Supportive practices
Breathing practices, meditation, yoga, self-care, and traditional Ayurvedic procedures may be suggested when appropriate.
Ayurvedic recommendations are intended to complement, not replace, appropriate medical care.
How we work together
Ayurvedic recommendations are intended to be practical and sustainable rather than overwhelming. We focus on the changes that are most relevant to you and adapt them to your daily life, priorities, and individual needs.
For clients who choose ongoing support, follow-up consultations provide an opportunity to review what has changed, discuss what is or is not working, and adjust recommendations as your needs evolve.
